Noida, India – The Academyy of Excellence, one of India’s leading institutes for professional education, has successfully concluded an inspiring series of workshops designed to give students firsthand exposure to the worlds of acting, journalism, and broadcast media. Over two dynamic days, aspiring talents engaged with acclaimed actors, theatre practitioners, and senior journalists who shared both their craft and their career journeys. The Academyy of Excellence proudly announced the resounding success of its recent workshops, which brought aspiring professionals face-to-face with leading names from the fields of journalism, film, and television. Acting Workshop
In August 2025, the School of Acting, Academyy of Excellence, organized a vibrant Film and Television Acting Workshop that celebrated the art of performance and the spirit of creativity. The event was mentored by acclaimed actors and artists including Lokesh Mittal, renowned for his outstanding roles in Panchayat, Farzi, and Bholaa; Rajesh Tiwari, artistic director, veteran theatre director, playwright, and former Scholastic Head of Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, who brought his decades of theatre-based experiential learning to the sessions; and Priyanka Thakur, a model and actor admired for her confidence and versatility.
Through engaging sessions, the mentors took students on a journey into the craft of acting—exploring emotional authenticity, on-camera presence, and the deep connection between body, mind, and soul in performance. The openness of the mentors in sharing their real-life experiences, combined with the enthusiasm of the participants, created a memorable and impactful learning environment.
Academy Head Neeraj Sharma, a renowned director, guided students with detailed insights about building a career in acting, remarking that “AoE can be your true acting launch pad.”
Journalism Workshop
The School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Academyy of Excellence, hosted an intensive News Anchoring and Reporting Workshop, led by eminent journalists from News1 India channel. Esteemed figures including Associate Editor Brajesh Srivastava, Consulting Editor Ashutosh Agnihotri, Senior Anchor Archana Kaushal, Crime Journalist Mohsin Khan, Entertainment Anchor Naina Sharma, and Multimedia Producer Tamanna Sharma engaged with students in a rare, candid exchange about the evolving landscape of journalism.
Participants learned about the power of credibility, the responsibility of accurate reporting, and the role of general awareness in shaping impactful news coverage. Sessions were enriched with personal anecdotes, professional insights, and practical guidance. An exclusive guided tour of the News1 India studios offered students a behind-the-scenes experience of newsroom operations, allowing them to witness live anchoring, research processes, and editorial decision-making.
A vibrant Q&A session further helped participants gain clarity on the “dos and don’ts” of news anchoring and reporting. The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion that left students better equipped and inspired to pursue a future in journalism.
